not be directly used for in-game situations:
1. Flaming: Flaming is when a user clearly insults another user. This is
whether you refer to them in a derogatory manner or simply tell them that
you think they are stupid. Regardless, such immature posts will be removed.
2. Offensive Posts: Any posts involving excessive swearing, insults, threats,
and anything else inappropriate will fall into this category. These posts will
also be removed from the message boards.
3. Trolling: Intending only to insult or annoy other users. Do not post
something if you know it is only going to anger others.
4. Flooding/irrelevant posting: Repetitive posting, advertising your websites,
other games, etc. This does not mean you can't give someone a web address.
This simply means that you may not go to a board and post with the sole
intent to get your web address on our boards.
5. Off-Topic: Posting anything outside what the board is made for. For
example: Please do not use Illutia Forums to chat about things that have no
relevance to the game, that is what the off topic lounge is for. Also, please
do not post in Help area if you do not have a problem. This will allow us
to solve the problem as quickly as possible.
6. Other things: Please do not post anything that is simply disruptive. This
would include things such as: Blank posts, posts full of gibberish
(I.E.: ALKENMFFLKJD!!!?), and posts in all caps. Also, please do not
post over and over again if you haven't gotten a response. You will get
one eventually.
7. Identity Theft/Impersonation: Any attempt to disguise yourself as another
player or GM will mean an immediate ban from both the forum and game.
8. Post strudles: Posting only to raise your post count will cause it to be
lowered or if done too often, lead to you being banned from the forum. Make
legitimate posts or do not post at all.
9.Rude comments and/or remarks in response to what a moderator has posted
will not be tolerated and will be considered a flamatory or offensive post.
In case of these things happening, the post will most likely be deleted with a
message from us in its place. Please take this as a hint and discontinue your
actions. If you continue to do these sorts of things other measures may be
taken.
Please keep in mind you are still bound by our TOS on the forums which can be
found here.
Also as a final note, a ban on the forum may also bring an in-game ban depending
on the offense.
