The Staff would like to let players know that there are upcoming renovations planned for each class. When the changes are completed, the classes will be able to work together according to each class' unique, intended abilities. Class powers will overlap less, and training before the level cap will build and flow more smoothly into the abilities of characters at the level cap (Level 50).

Basic intended descriptions of each current class are as follows:

Swordsman - able to take high amounts of damage and hold the attention of enemies in order to distract them from the rest of the swordsman's party. Helpful attributes include, but are not limited to, Armor Class, Damage Reduction, and Health Points.

Knave - able to deal high damage per second in short attack range. Knaves rely on stealth, the element of surprise, speed, and damage.

Mystic - controls crowds of enemies using long-range spells that stop or slow enemies down. Mystics have the ability to deal damage to many enemies at one time, but they relinquish the power to strike down enemies one after the other as quickly as Knaves can.

Priest - able to heal comrades and party members as well as uplift them with buffs that aid against enemies. Priests are not able to deal a high amount of damage, but they are very supportive of Lutians around them.

Fist - deals high amounts of damage with each melee attack and blow. Fists are multi-faceted and can be built up in multiple ways with a choice of attributes. The Fist class is intended as a bonus class for Lutians that wish to challenge themselves.

Bards are currently being worked on as well, but details can not be released at this point in time.

Please take each class description, consider it, and spit out feedback. Changes have already been discussed by Staff, but any suggestions are welcome. Feedback is welcome on the forums, but please remember to organize thoughts and concerns before posting. Be considerate to other opinions and suggestions.

These changes will take a while to polish, implement, and test. The Staff wants to make sure everything is done in the best interests of Illutia and its inhabitants before any alterations are made.

The first class in line to be altered is the Priest class. This initial change is for spells below the level cap in order to make spells more helpful and allow Priests to better build on their skills as they gain more knowledge and strengthen their minds. Expect the following spells to be altered in some way:

Holy Seal
Holy Light
Might of the Gods
Heart of the Gods
Healing Power
Mind of the Gods
Trust of the Gods
Heal of the Sages

Look forward to two new heals as well. Expect changes to occur throughout Thursday, July 7th. Spells may be tweaked after the first changes in order to make sure spells function properly.

If you and your fellow Lutians have any ideas for these spells, or others not mentioned, please post and let the Staff know. Now is your chance to change things for the better!
